Arsenal’s journey in the Champions League ended after a 0-1 defeat to Bayern Munich. Joshua Kimmich’s only goal helped the Bavarian Gray Tigers advance after two matches. Former football player Didi Hamann was not impressed with the performance of duo David Raya and Declan Rice in the loss to Bayern Munich. Commenting with talkSPORT, Didi Hamann stated his opinion:

” You have to ask whether Arsenal can win the title with this team. I know the squad includes many young players. Arsenal has a very good defense. However, I’m not so sure about the goalkeeper position. I think it will be difficult for the team to win the title if the goalkeeper does not bring the necessary confidence and peace of mind.”

” I don’t think Arsenal have improved compared to last season. Xhaka arrived at Leverkusen and is having a brilliant season. People say Declan Rice is the best midfielder in Europe, but I haven’t seen that there”.
