Gunners tipped for Premier League title win as Mikel Arteta backs David Raya

With their victory over Wolves on Saturday, Arsenal is once again challenging for the Premier League crown.

David Raya has been identified by manager Mikel Arteta as the decisive player in the triumph at Molineux. Despite the keeper’s criticism from some this season, Arteta thinks he’s been a good addition.

Arsenal’s focus now shifts to their match against Chelsea on Tuesday, followed by their North London Derby match against Tottenham on Sunday. If the Gunners defeat the Blues at the Emirates, they will be able to momentarily increase their lead above Manchester City.

Although they are unlikely to win the championship this year, Jamie Redknapp thinks Arteta’s team will undoubtedly celebrate the following summer. Mirror Football compiles the most recent Arsenal news here.
Arteta rears Raya

Mikel Arteta, who played a pivotal part in Saturday’s victory over Wolves, has endorsed goalkeeper David Raya. Although Raya’s performances this term have drawn criticism, his manager continues to firmly support him.

“David made the crucial save for us at that precise moment, and we capitalized on it. He has, in my opinion, been incredibly reliable the entire season. That’s demonstrated by the numbers,” Arteta remarked.

“I believe that the first goal’s timing was also very beneficial. Very joyful. We now have another huge one, a London derby in front of our supporters against a fantastic club that is doing well. Come on, let’s do it.”
Following the Manchester City manager’s enraged tirade on match scheduling, Mikel Arteta shared Pep Guardiola’s worries about player welfare. After his team’s FA Cup semifinal loss, Guardiola lost his mind, and Arteta thinks the Spaniard has every right to be upset.

“The players’ welfare comes first; it’s not about Pep or me. Every side must compete in the same manner when participating in European competitions, according to the Arsenal manager.

“You can’t play in the FA Cup and Premier League with a side that hasn’t played in seven days or three days prior and needs more time to heal. That is incorrect. It’s incorrect no matter which way you look at it.”

Arsenal is favored to win the title.

Jamie Redknapp believes that Arsenal will win the Premier League title the next season, regardless of what occurs in the last weeks of the current campaign. Despite the fact that Manchester City still has a game in hand, the Gunners are leading the league right now, and Redknapp thinks they can continue to play to their high standards.

“It doesn’t matter what happens; I think Arsenal will win the title next year,” he stated on Sky Sports. They’ll sign a few players in the summer, and I believe they have what it takes to succeed. They also seem to be growing better every year.

“I still believe they’ll be my favorites for the upcoming season, regardless of what happened this season. Winning points in this competition is really tough, in my opinion. Even though I enjoy watching Man City, they haven’t performed as well as they did last year, but they are still the best team.
