Diogo Dalot, one of the most improved full-backs in the Premier League, has made leaps at both ends of the pitch, his sudden crosses have drawn comparisons to David Beckham and his concentration levels have increased significantly.
Only a handful of defenders have been able to hold off Bukayo Saka this season. Dalot did exactly that in September. Arsenal’s No. 7 was limited in that match.
However, Dalot still considers Saka one of the toughest wingers he has faced in the Premier League. The Manchester United player praised the two Arsenal stars, telling Cronache di Spogliatoio: “From Rashford to Antony or Bruno Fernandes, and in the Premier League there are many difficult opponents. Especially the wingers.”
“You play against the best in the world. But above all against the best wingers. I’m thinking of (Jack) Grealish or (Jeremy) Doku. Saka and (Gabriel) Martinelli. There are many who dribble the ball and walk very fast.”
