Arsenal star Ben White caught undoing the gloves of Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario just seconds before the Gunners go ahead in the north London derby

Ben White was spotted taking off Guglielmo Vicario’s gloves for Spurs during the corner that gave Arsenal the advantage in the north London derby.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg headed Bukayo Saka’s inswinging corner into the back of his own net.

After seeing the goal again on replay, fans are not satisfied with its validity.

Replays now reveal that Arsenal defender White was using a cunning move to wrestle with Vicario on the goal line. White was formerly a defender for Brighton. 

 When watching again, White can be seen taking off Vicario’s glove during their fight on the goal line, which occurs just seconds before Arsenal scores.Arsenal had taken the lead against their rivals early on, and VAR did not review the goal despite White’s theatrics. 
 For Arsenal’s third goal, White was back at it, positioning himself in front of the goalie while Spurs failed to notice, and Havertz headed home as the Gunners comfortably won.

As supporters discussed the goal on social media, others brought attention to what White had done

As they saw the goal back, a fellow X user made the remark, “The guy’s a menace!”
