Liverpool fans were quick to praise Harvey Elliott’s ‘absolute screamer’ of a goal, which gave Jurgen Klopp’s Reds a four-goal advantage over Tottenham on Sunday.

Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, and Cody Gakpo had already scored for the hosts at Anfield before Elliott’s stunning goal, which for many fans was the cherry on top of an outstanding performance.

Salah pushed the ball into Elliott’s path, and he took it with his left foot before launching a spectacular shot into the top corner of Guglielmo Vicario’s goal.

One fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Elliott is a gem.” That is an absolute SCREAMER.

It was a moment to recognise the 21-year-old midfielder’s outstanding performance, with one claiming: ‘This Harvey Elliott performance is 10/10.’
