Declan Rice has finally given an explanation for why he was spotted furiously talking to himself during yesterday’s halftime of Arsenal vs. Bournemouth.
Rice was one of Arsenal’s most dependable players in the match once more as the Gunners put on a fantastic display to win 3-0.
The midfielder has maybe been the Premier League’s best acquisition of the season, making Arsenal’s record-breaking purchase cost seem like a good deal.
Rice always gives it his all, and he performed at that level in the Cherries game. He did, however, waste a simple opportunity to increase Arsenal’s lead in the first half.
He gave the following explanation when questioned about why he was upset at halftime, as reported by the Daily Mail:
“I believe you noticed that there was dominance in the first half.” If I were being completely honest with you, we may have been four or five up.
To be really honest, I was furious because I missed the sitter. I was determined to make the most of my opportunity today, so I couldn’t let it go.
This season, Rice has been among the finest players in Europe, and his response demonstrates why greatness is in store for him.
His career at Arsenal is just getting started, so as long as the midfield player keeps in good form and has the appropriate mindset, we will see even more from him in the upcoming campaigns.
