This weekend, Arsenal will play Bournemouth in an attempt to go one step closer to winning the Premier League.
Despite having played one extra game, the Gunners are now ahead of Manchester City in the standings. With just two games left in the season, Mikel Arteta’s team may be comfortably ahead if things go their way.
The Arsenal manager has been putting his team through its paces on the training field prior to that. With an outstanding debut season under Andoni Iraola, Bournemouth will pose a serious threat.
The Gunners prevailed 4-0 in the rematch, but this time around things won’t be quite so simple. Check out everything that has been reported from the Emirates Stadium in the last 24 hours:
Although Bukayo Saka has performed admirably for Arsenal this season, Michael Owen thinks Cole Palmer of Chelsea should start for the England team instead of Saka. “I’d now start Cole Palmer instead of Saka,” he said to Gambling Zone.
“The first players Anthony Gordon on the left and Marcus Rashford on the right would catch my eye if I were Southgate. They would come to mind because they are both left-siders and I need pace on my team from somewhere.
“I would start one in one group game and start another in another, going with whoever is in good form. But I would remain the same for the remainder of it. Palmer’s form and quality are something you cannot continue to overlook, in my opinion.
Zirkzee swoop approved by Zanetti
Joshua Zirkzee may provide Saka with a new attacking partner come summertime. However, Arsenal may have to contend with competition from Inter Milan if they want to recruit him.
Club legend Javier Zanetti has suggested that the big Italian team might want to transfer. “Zirkzee is a great champion,” he remarked, speaking to Radio TV Serie A via Metro. We are discussing a young, gifted, wise, and physically formidable athlete.
Any excellent team striving for significant objectives would benefit from having someone like that. Let’s see if we can consider it if the chance presents itself.
