Since joining Arsenal, Leandro Trossard has had a respectable influence, and at the Emirates Stadium, his goal celebration has drawn attention.

After failing to secure first-choice target Mykhaylo Mudryk, who joined Chelsea instead in a deal that might exceed £88.5 million, Arsenal offered Brighton £27 million to capture Trossard in January. In the second half of the 2022–2023 season, Trossard made a significant contribution with some crucial assists, establishing himself quickly in north London.

His versatility allows Mikel Arteta to field him anywhere in the front line, which has made him into a very valuable squad player. With 38 games played for Arsenal, the Belgium international has racked up seven goals and twelve assists, so he has plenty of reasons to be happy.

In 2019, Trossard wed Laura Hilven, his partner, and the two became parents to two sons, Thiago and Amadeo, born in 2017 and 2023, respectively.

Despite only scoring once for Arsenal in the previous season, Trossard has had six opportunities to show off his celebration this year. He now plays a variety of positions for Arteta’s team, starting on both flanks and filling in for Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus when they aren’t on the field.
Speaking prior to the Champions League victory 6-0 over Lens, Arteta praised his versatility. He described himself as “a really good fit for us,” adding, “I think he’s a tremendous player, that has great talent and especially great intelligence to play the way we want to play.”


“We signed him primarily because of his versatility; he has league experience and has already accomplished what he set out to do.” He demonstrated his ability to handle the many problems that our frontline faced in January by effectively covering the necessary tasks.
