Speaking on the club’s homepage, goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale had some notable comments about his fellow star.

In last summer’s transfer window, Arsenal broke the bank to bring in Declan Rice from West Ham United. This decision soon proved correct when the English midfielder became an irreplaceable piece in the Gunners’ midfield.

Declan Rice is known as a comprehensive player. Therefore, he can take on almost any role depending on Mikel Arteta’s tactical intentions. Not only does he do a good job in disputes and interceptions from afar, but when pushed to play like a number 8 on the left, the Three Lions star also develops his impressive ability to play the ball.

Rice currently has 7 goals and 9 assists in all competitions. With that excellent performance, he was voted as one of the best signings of the season. Commenting on his teammate, goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale said:

”Rice can play as a No. 8 or we can play a more attacking player like Fabio Vieira as a No. 8 and let him drop into the No. 6 position.

If he plays as a number 8, we will use Thomas Partey if Jorginho gets tired. Rice can run all day.  Zinchenko called him a horse .”
