Even though they are currently depending on their bitter rivals Tottenham to win the Premier League, Arsenal still has a chance.
To top the table, the Gunners need to win their last two games and pray that title rivals Manchester City lose their match against Spurs. When Everton visits in their last game, Arsenal may not have manager Mikel Arteta available.
Going into the final two weeks of the season, the Spaniard is teetering on the brink of suspension and could receive a touchline ban. Nicolas Pepe, a former failure, will also be available as a free agent this season.
Furthermore, Micah Richards, a previous champion, thinks the fixture planners have given City an advantage in the title fight. Mirror Football compiles all of the most recent Arsenal news here.
Arteta faces a last-day hit.
The Premier League season’s last match between Arsenal and Everton may not feature the team’s manager, Mikel Arteta. In the current campaign, the Spaniard has received five yellow cards.
He will be need to serve a one-match touchline ban if he picks up any more. Due to suspension, the Gunners manager has already missed one match; in December, he was unable to attend the team’s 1-0 loss against Aston Villa.
Premier League managers face sanctions after each of their three yellow cards, and this season, Arteta has the poorest disciplinary record of any manager. He received bookings in the two games against Chelsea, as well as against Brighton, Luton, and Fulham.
Former champion Micah Richards believes that Arsenal’s dreams of winning the Premier League have been dashed by Manchester City thanks to a crucial fixture adjustment. Richards thinks Pep Gaurdiola’s team has benefitted by the postponement of City’s match against Spurs.
“You look at City, who are also playing Spurs away from home, but you assume they will win the remaining games. Spurs away, they haven’t had the best of results lately, but things are heating up. However, I believe Man City has the advantage,” he said to the podcast The Rest Is Football.
“City supporters would have been a little more anxious if Spurs and Man City had played three weeks ago, but Spurs are conceding far too many goals.” They will be thoroughly destroyed by Man City if they attempt to play that high line. They will need to make some minor adjustments.”

Arsenal failure to be released as a free agent
Nicolas Pepe, a former Arsenal failure, will be leaving Trabzonspor when his contract ends at the end of June to become a free agent. The 28-year-old failed to live up to his high price tag after joining the Gunners in 2019 for a club record £72 million.
Last season, he was transferred on loan to Nice and then released by Arsenal in the summer. That made it possible for him to finish moving to Trabzonspor, but his stay in Turkey has also turned out to be disastrous.
He struggled to have an impact and once lasted four months without starting a game. With just one goal in his last six games, Trabzonspor is getting ready to let him go.
