According to The Sun, Aaron Wan-Bissaka will join Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial in saying goodbye to Old Trafford when Man United takes on Newcastle in the final home match of the season.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka looks set to play his final match at Old Trafford as a Man United player on Wednesday night (local time).
This full-back has one year left on his contract with Man United, so this summer is the last chance for the club to make money from this 26-year-old player.
After leaving Crystal Palace, Wan-Bissaka signed a contract with Man United in June 2019, with a term of 5 years. The option to extend for another year was activated last season. Like most of the Red Devils’ post-Sir Alex Ferguson transfers, this £50 million deal was a huge disappointment at Old Trafford.
The former England U21 international is expected to return to Palace, while Wolves and West Ham both want Wan-Bissaka. As for Man United, they are expected to reduce the asking price for Wan-Bissaka to £20 million – this is a suitable fee for teams to approach.
Wan-Bissaka can win one trophy before leaving Old Trafford, the FA Cup, if Man United defeats great rivals Man City in the final later this month.
