Mikel Arteta talks next job as club stalwart confirms Emirates exit

If Arsenal is to win the Premier League, they will require a final-day swing.

The Gunners are in second place going into their 38th game of the season, and Manchester City has never been in first place on the last day of the standings. Despite a stronger showing this season, Mikel Arteta’s team finished second last year and is ready to repeat that performance.
Arsenal need a final day swing if they are to be champions

The North Londoners haven’t won the Premier League in 20 years, but if they want to achieve it again, they’ll need West Ham’s help.
Arteta discusses her next move.

Arteta has acknowledged that he does intend to visit Spain again in the future. With just over a year remaining on his Emirates deal, Arteta is hoping to be a long-term member of the team.

After Xavi said he would be leaving at the conclusion of the season, the Spaniard was linked to the Barcelona position. He has since disclosed that he hopes to return to his native country in the future.

Mikel Arteta is eventually looking to return to his homeland
According to Arteta, “I’ve always believed that I will return someday.” I’m drawn to my hometown, our way of life, our social gatherings, and our culture, therefore I’m constantly thinking about it. However, I am content with my treatment at Arsenal, delighted to be here, and I truly love what I do. However, I believe the day will come when I’ll no longer be gone forever.”
Gunners resolutely depart

Mohamed Elneny, a midfielder, confirmed his departure from the Gunners. This summer, the 31-year-old Egyptian—who is now the player with the longest tenure at the club—will leave the Emirates on a free transfer.

Elneny, a well-liked team member, has made just 161 appearances across all competitions since joining the team in January 2016 and is leaving after making few appearances for manager Mikel Arteta this season.

Mohamed Elneny has rarely featured for Mikel Arteta's side this term.
In a moving video message posted on social media on Friday, Elneny stated to Arsenal supporters, “Gooners, I’m here today to send you a message, to say goodbye and thank you for everything you’ve done for me.” The warmth, love, and support. You will always have a special place in my heart, and I will truly miss you a lot.
Arteta asking Moyes for assistance

If David Moyes can pull a favor for his team on the last day of the season, Arteta says he’ll always be grateful. On Sunday, Moyes will lead his West Ham team to Manchester, where the Gunners are expecting the Scot to do them the utmost favor.
