Speaking on Sky Sports, the Man Utd star opened up about the cold treatment he received from fans.

Casemiro arrives at Old Trafford in the summer of 2022 for a fee of up to 70 million pounds. With his experience, the Samba star soon brought stability to the Red Devils’ midfield. He also made an important contribution to helping them win the EFL Cup title.

However, everything has turned around at the present time. Casemiro was injured and his performance dropped significantly. No longer the image of a solid shield, the former Real Madrid player also had to face countless criticisms for a series of personal mistakes that made the Red Devils’ season increasingly worse. 

Casemiro understood the situation well. However, he believes that public opinion’s continuous criticism of him is really disrespectful if you look at what he has contributed.

“I was considered one of the best signings in the Premier League last season and now I have no value anymore? ”.

“Criticism is disrespectful. So when there’s a lack of respect, it’s worrying and I don’t need to respect that either,”  he shared with Sky Sports.
