Victor Osimhen claims to own only two Premier League team shirts in a major transfer hint

Victor Osimhen has revealed the two Premier League shirts he owns, hinting at a potential transfer.

Osimhen has emerged as one of the hottest strikers around, leading Napoli to their first Scudetto in 33 years last season, scoring 31 goals in 39 games across all competitions.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United have all been linked with the Nigerian, whose price tag is estimated at £150 million.

Osimhen’s contract runs until 2025, but he has made no secret of his desire to play in the Premier League someday.

The former Lille player does not support a Premier League team, but he admits to owning Chelsea and United jerseys.

“I don’t have a favourite Premier League team, but I own two jerseys: Chelsea and Manchester United,” Osimhen said on ‘The Obi One podcast’ with compatriot and former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel.

“Many of my friends are Chelsea fans, and few are Manchester United fans.

“Premier League is the most appreciated league by every African player — it’s a huge league.”

According to Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen has been offered a new contract with Napoli but has yet to agree on a contract extension.

He stated: “From what I’ve heard, Victor Osimhen has yet to reach an agreement with any club, including Napoli. There is no agreement regarding the contract extension.”

The striker had been at odds with the club following a bizarre and contentious video posted on the club’s TikTok page following a penalty miss against Bologna.

Napoli were forced to issue a statement, emphasizing that they had no intention of offending their number nine.

In the podcast with Obi Mikel, Osimhen confirmed that rumours of a €200 million offer from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal were true, and that the proposal was “difficult” to turn down.

He clarified: “What was said is correct. To be honest, I never considered leaving Napoli last summer because they wanted to keep me, but when a huge offer came from Saudi Arabia, it was difficult to refuse. I spoke with Napoli and decided to stay.

“It was crazy…” The more I declined, the more they increased their financial offer. It would have changed my life, and they never gave up. But I said, “No, guys; I’m staying.”
