Het Belang van Limburg newspaper said that Arsenal has made a move to approach PSV player Johan Bakayoko.
Belgian international Johan Bakayoko was on the radar of Burnley and Brentford last summer, but he turned down these two teams to stay at PSV because he could play in the Champions League.
However, he is still likely to leave PSV during this summer transfer window. Het Belang van Limburg newspaper said that Arsenal had approached Bakayoko.
The same source interviewed Bakayoko about the interest from the big boys and he replied vaguely: “The only thing I can say is that next year I will be on a football field somewhere.”
Arsenal is relying heavily on Bukayo Saka. He is one of the players who has had to work the most at Arsenal in the past three years.
Bakayoko will be a rotation option worth considering for Mikel Arteta. He contributed to 28 PSV goals last season.
In addition to scoring goals, he also has an average of 2.1 key passes per match, his passing accuracy is 87%. This player also has an average of 2.8 passes per match.
