IT’S MUMMING HOME: Jude Bellingham owes superstardom to his mother, whom he calls his ‘queen’ and ‘hero’ ex-cop father, as Jose Mourinho praises family

GRATEFUL Jude Bellingham made his mother, Denise, the center of attention following his Wembley victory as a thank you for helping him realize his dreams of glory.

The 20-year-old Champions League winner credits the woman he refers to as his Queen with bringing him close to European greatness.

Jude Bellingham owes a lot to his family following his Champions League victory with Real Madrid

After playing 42 games for Real Madrid in a debut season that saw him named La Liga Player of the Year, England fans urged Jude to save his strength for the upcoming Euros in Germany.

Chelsea fan Richard Wilson, 36, of Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, said: “Jude has played twice as much football as most top professionals at his age — he must be exhausted.

“But he has the ability to become a true England great.”

On Saturday night, Jude celebrated his 2-0 victory over former club Borussia Dortmund by taking Denise to the sidelines to meet former Madrid manager and TV pundit Jose Mourinho, also known as The Special One.

“For me, it’s very beautiful. We play for our family, especially during these times.”

Mum Denise, 54, accompanied former Birmingham City player Jude when he was sold to Dortmund for £21 million in 2020, and then remained by his side when he moved to Madrid for an initial £88 million last year.

Mark, a 48-year-old retired cop, stayed at home with Jobe, 18, who is currently playing for Sunderland.

Denise made sure to celebrate her birthday in December when she returned to the United Kingdom.

Jude posted online, “Happy Birthday to my Queen! “I love you more than life.”

He has admitted: “Without my mother, I would get too low with the lows or too high with the highs, and I stay pretty humble because I have her around.

“She is also a great laugher. We get along really well and are always doing things together. My mother is playing a huge role.

“It’s probably the biggest role of anyone, more than my coaches and managers, to be honest.”

Denise, a former human resources manager, handles Jude’s financial affairs, and Mark is his manager.

Jude stated, “It leads to great conversations around the table. It can be anything from a movie discussion to ‘By the way, Real Madrid is interested . . .’.”

Jude claims he has only “good memories” of his childhood in Hagley, West Midlands.

Despite Mark’s success as a non-league striker, he was not an avid football fan as a child.

When taken along to his father’s training sessions, he chose to make a daisy bouquet for his mother or play hide and seek.

But he got hooked. He said: “We talk about footballing heroes, and my dad was like my first.”

“Seeing the way he played and the atmosphere, it made me fall in love with football.”

The family’s unwavering support allowed him to focus on being a “good footballer” rather than getting bogged down in the trappings of attention and fаme.

However, The Sun revealed that he has found time for romance with 25-year-old Dutch model Laura Celia Valk.

Yesterday, he flew back to Madrid ahead of the club’s 15th European Cup victory parade.

That means he won’t be available for England’s friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina tonight at St James Park in Newcastle.

However, he will join his teammates in time for our final friendly before the Euros against Iceland at Wembley Stadium on Friday night.

An England source told The Sun: “He’ll probably join the squad for light training on Wednesday or Thursday, but Gareth Southgate will want him to take a well-deserved break.

“He might be on the substitutes’ bench against Iceland but is unlikely to get any game time.”

Supporter Paul Taylor, a 46-year-old Birmingham building firm director, said: “We have the best chance in my lifetime with this squad, and Jude is our standout player. He should take a break before the Euros.”

And events organiser Jemma Swift, 39, of West London, said: “We have the best chance of finally winning a trophy.

“If he stays fit and fired up it’ll be an incredible summer!”
