KYLIAN MBAPPE has shared a collection of throwback photos of himself wearing Real Madrid gear and meeting his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 25-year-old Frenchman has finally completed his dream move to Los Blancos after a lengthy transfer saga.
After his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired, Mbappe signed with the Champions League winners.
After signing a five-year contract with his new club, Mbappe took to social media to express his delight at joining the Bernabeu.
He wrote, “A dream comes true.
“So happy and proud to join the club of my dreams, @realmadrid.
“Nobody understands how excited I am right now.”
“I can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thank you for your incredible support.
“¡Hala Madrid!”
Mbappe’s post included four photos of himself wearing a Real Madrid tracksuit jacket as a child.
Mbappe has taken a £51 million pay cut to join the newly crowned Champions of Europe.
During his final season in Paris, he is believed to have earned a whopping £63.9 million per year, plus an annual £25.6 million signing-on bonus.
According to Sky Sports, his new contract in the Spanish capital will pay him a comparatively low £12.8 million per year after tax.
Mbappe will reportedly receive a whopping £106.5 million signing-on bonus, which will be paid out in instalments over the course of his contract.
