According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Man United have sent a new offer to Everton to buy Jarred Branthwaite . The English midfielder has attracted the attention of many big teams in the foggy country when playing impressively at Everton.

On the Man United side, the Red Devils need to strengthen their defense after the departure of Raphael Varane. Jarred Branthwaite has emerged as a possible target. The 22-year-old has performed convincingly in the 2023/2024 season.

According to Romano, Man United sent Everton an offer worth 45 million pounds, plus 5 million pounds in additional fees . However, Man United’s price is unlikely to convince the Goodison Park team to let him go.

Everton value Jarred Branthwaite at around £65m to £70m, so United need to put a more substantial amount on the table.

Besides Jarred Branthwaite, Man United can target some other quality central defenders on the transfer market such as: Marc Guehi, Jean-Clair Todibo, Leny Yoro….

Guehi played convincingly for Crystal Palace and has experience playing in the Premier League. Meanwhile, Todibo and Yoro are excellent centre-backs in Ligue 1.
